Windstruck (Korean)

The film may be a bit slow moving towards the end and may bore you a bit… But it do have some really funny moments at the beginning. But is a lot sad towards the end. But the sadness makes it a bit more romantic, if you tend to consider it that way.
Windstruck is considered as a sort of prequel of ‘My sassy girl’ by not exactly a prequel but ya, sort of.
The story is of a police woman,Yeo Kyong-jin, who meets a school teacher,Go Myong-woo, in some funny situations where she arrests him for charge of stealing a bag, when in fact Myong-woo was following the thief. But soon the misunderstandings clear off, and then these two again meets for finding if school students are being involved with drug dealers and then accidently get in to a fight with the drug dealers and in the course of events their hands gets in to a single hand-cuff and they lose the key, so they get stuck together for some time.
After all this they begins to like each other and they both drifts in to a relationship, but for not so long as they get separated by death Myong-woo, by a tragic accidental bullet hit in a public encounter involving Kyong-jin, and a dangerous criminal, and another detective.
Well, not many people will like this film, because even at the half of the movie the hero dies, and even from the beginning we have a feeling that he is going to die and will be waiting for that to happen. And ending is a bit dragging. Bit in over all it is a worth watch movie. Lovable even...
Also there is a fantasy twist of Myong-woo's spirit being with Kyong-jin even after his death. That is quiet romantic.
my ratings of this Movie: 8/10
