Top 15 Supports' Love Stories In Korean Dramas

There are sometimes when the love stories of the support characters are so good that they surpass the leads's love stories, or might be as good as the lead's love stories. There are even cases when we wish if they had shown more of these cute couples who were not the leads. We wish if they had made another drama with these couple's story as the main...
So today, I am going to list some of these side character's love stories that was as good as the lead's stories or in some cases even better then the lead's stories.
1. Jason and Kim Pil Suk
(Dream High)
I absolutely love this couple. They are just so adorable and perfect together. Kim Pil Suk, who was fat cute girl, and Jason being her crush. But unlike other normal guys, Jaeson doesn't look down on Pil Suk for being fat and take care of her a lot. Even when she propose to him, he just say he likes her but not as she wants. And it's not because Pil Suk lose weight for him that he start to like her. It's because she criticize him when she is supposed to be in love with him. He realize he loves her because he is concerned for her all the time. And coz he gets jealous when she is with some other boy.
Actually Pil Suk and Jason's story is a bit different and innocent.
2. Big and Hye Young
(Surplus Princess)
We never expect to find this adorable couple in that mediocre drama. In this drama, the leads's story and the leads itself, were like 'not that good', or to blandly say 'bad'. But it was worth to bear through the drama just to see this two couple. Big and Hye Young just capture our heart with their younger boy older girl 'nuna' romance.
They have used all OST songs and other Singers songs in background for these couple, ruining the mood just a bit. But that does not hinder the quality of love between these two. And by the way, the song 'I'm Saying' (말이야) of 'Heirs' suits better for these two than actual Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang (lol:-D)
3. Oh Dong Hoon + Editor
(Flower Boy Next Door)
An unusual love story indeed. And the character of the Editor is so different and lively. We can never find a character like her ever again. And hence her love story is so cute and different.
4. Tae Ho and Joo Ah
(Hi! School Love On)
Somehow these miss-fits go together so well. He was an ex-bully. She is such a hardworking good girl with a lot of family problems. But they get seated next to each other in class...
5. Dong Il and Il Hwa (Mom and Dad)
(Reply 1997)
This story just comes in the whole series for just a few minutes. The story of how mom and dad actually fell in love. But those few minutes of their story actually capture our hearts so much and they stay in our mind. We can see the older mom and dad fighting and loving all through the drama though...
6. Hak Chan and Yoo Jung
(Reply 1997)
The charismatic boy, Hak Chan have no experience with women, and hence become a fool in front of girls. But Yoo Jung just be casual with him and touch him and stuff. He soon starts liking her and they become a couple...
7. King Gong Min and Queen No Guk
(Faith)
At the beginning of the drama, it doesn't feel like that the king and queen love each other. But as it advances their romance strike us. It's a bit thrilling. their advance. I especially like the part where queen No Guk says 'no way' when people say that king must be concerned about her. And this is told to the king that the queen said 'no way', and he is irritated and speechless about the whole thing.
The love story between these two is passionate and capturing. well, as expected from them, as in history the real King Gong Min has said to have gone to depression state after Queen No Guk's death.
8. Hyun Soo and Ye Rim
(Shut up Flower Boy Band)
I like how these two meet. And like that even when Hyun Soo is just a common nobody musician and Ye Rim is an established singer, his anger and indifference attracts Ye Rim and she starts liking him. Hyun Soo rejects her feelings all the time, but finally can't help to get jealous when she comments some other guy is cool.
9. Yi Soo and Yi Kyung
(49 Days)
Ok! Technically they are not support characters and their story is not technically the support love story. That is why I decided to put them so down on this list. Coz other wise this story should have been in top 5. These two are as important as leads or more like co-leads. Yet as the other two are supposed to be the actual leads, these two can be considered as support characters.
Their love story is painful and so much touching.
Yi Soo dies. And he becomes a Death Scheduler. He doesn't have any memory of Yi Kyung. Het he feels a pain whenever he see Yi Kyung. A pain he is not supposed to feel as he is no longer human.
And as for Yi Kyung, she is living as a live corpse after Yi Soo's death.
10. Yi Jung and Gha Eul
(Boys Over Flower)
Geum Jan Di and Gu Jun Pyo are not the only popular couple in Boys oVer Flowers. People can't forget the lovely Gha Eun and playboy Yi Jung's love story too.
11. Seung Ri and Han Na
(To The Beautiful You)
I really like the fact that Han Na the second lead in the drama is not left alone like many other second leads. She gets Seung Ri sunbae, who adores her and cherish her. At the same time these two's love story is filled with so many fun moments and laughter.
12. Scholar Heo Yeom and Princess Min Hwa
(The Moon That Embraces the Sun)
There is nothing much of a two sided intense love story between these two, but s way too cute how young Princess Min Hwa follow around Scholar Ho Yeom, and ask everyone to let her marry him. In this list because of how innocent and cute Young Princess Min Hwa is...
13. Lee Yoo Shin and Park Chan Woo
(Lee Soo Shin Is The Best)
Yoo Shin is spunky, cute and outgoing. Too cute and naughty. And her childhood friend Chan Woo is a gentleman doctor, who is silent and sweet kind. These best fiends, finally end up in love...and that journey is kind of interesting to watch.
14. Choi Han Sung and Han Yoo Ju
(Coffee Prince)
They are also technically not support characters and are as important as leads.
These two are a couple for more than 10 years and hence are too much comfortable with each other. They have such an awesome chemistry.
15. Yeo Jun Hee and Han Hee Joo
(Heartstrings)
"Hee Ju unni..." - calls Jun Hee, in his most cute and adorable voice. Jun Hee's love is innocent. Even if Han Hee Joo appreciate his love or not, he just loves her and follows her around. And the best moment is when he puts head phones on crying Hee Joo and lets her hear the comforting music, while tears come out of his eyes too while watching her cry.
