This is a typical Butsudan for ancestor worship.
Japanese people dedicate thanks for past people every day.
You don't have to buy the gorgeous set,
because important purpose is "A care for ancestors."
Senzo-Kuyou means care for ancestors in Japanese language.
This is my simple Butsudan.
I dedicate 3 incenses and hot tea every morning.
As long as I do the ritual every day,
it works.
In some distinguished family homes in rural of Japan,
they own big and expensive Butsudan.
We owe invisible existences.
There is a Kamidana table over Butsudan.
That is an ideal and effective placement each other.
Kamidana is a place for nature gods who are protecting your neighborhood.
Please think Kamidana is a home-shrine.
Nature fairy gods visit each house's Kamidana and get power to guard the area.
A pair of sakaki plants and one water bowl mean a forest.
Well dedicated and cherished Kamidana works very nice.
Care means all.
We have to replace water of vases and bowl every day.
We care 2 tables every day.
Kamidana is cared at first and Butsudan is next.
Of course,we have to clean the room before rituals.
Almost old houses had a special room for 2 sacred tables.
It is called Butsuma.(Photos)
The best place for the room is North-East side of your house,
and set them face to North-East side of wall.
It is just an ideal,you can set them where you can set.

in cleaned and quiet place in your house.

because they have been keeping Butsudan ritual very well.
Also,good condition family lines tend to have many children especially boys.
