Unboxing [UK]: Sword Art Online II - Part 4: Collector's Edition (BD/DVD)
Wednesday, June 21, 2017
Pretty much as soon as I acquired the third part, I decided to get the final part to fill the gap on what was left to acquire for the show.
Like Parts 1-3, these boxes have a special texture of sorts that makes the set really hard to take photos on.
Sword Art Online II is the second season of the franchise following Kirito and his usual antics. I liked the second season as a whole and I think Mother's Rosario is probably the best non-Aincrad arc in the series.
Sword Art Online II is split into three story arcs this time around. The first half of the series covered the Gun Gale Online (aka Phantom Bullet) arc, the third part of the series covered a mini arc called Calibur, and now we're on the fourth and final part which ventures back to Alfhelm Online with the conclusion to the Mother's Rosario arc and also the second season itself. Due to Aniplex, Anime Limited had no choice but to go along with the four part release, however they were able to bring it out with special treatments - that being booklets, a sturdy box and shiny covers.
Part 4 contains the next five episodes of the season (20-24 covering Mother's Rosario Part 2) across one Blu-ray and DVD disc. Both discs have the English dub and original Japanese audio with optional English subtitles. The discs are locked to region B and 2 only.
