A touching love story, also a story that will teach how to be happy even in sadness. Also the story of a brave little girl. But we come to that in the end.
Synopsis : One sunny day, 8 year old boy Jo-Kang meets an 8 year old girl, Ari, in a yellow rain coat, and fall in love. Ari is his classmate, and they becomes friends easily. Ari tells everyone that she is wearing a rain coat even when there is not rain to prevent her curse affecting others. She says people get bad luck and gets injured or die or get sick if they touch her. One rainy day, Jo-kang and Ari touches and Jo-kang gets sick the next day. Ari stops coming to school and stops communicating with Jo-kang. Then Jo-kang moves to city. 10 years later he gets a phone call from Ari, and the Jo-knag is invited to stay with Ari and study, and Jo-kang goes there… And in a few months time falls in love with Ari. But after a kiss, Jo-Knag gets flue, and Ari disappears again.
This time Jo-kang keeps searching for her and refuse to give up or forget her… And one day after eight years, Ari comes back… But tells him that she is going to America the next day. Jo-kang is crushed again…
The mystery of Ari is the touching twist in the film, and Jo-kang's undying love for Ari is the thing that keeps our heart tied to the film forever.
The only down side is that the ending tends to be a bit dragging.
