A popular anime turned to movie. Out of curiosity I watched the anime as well after I watched the movie. But i liked the Movie better. I mean, Anime is good it it's own sense. But Movie is a slightly more funnier. Anime is more romantic though. But Movie...is indeed funnier, and cuter. Ema Fujisawa who plays Risa is too cute and lovable. Maybe it is just coz of her that I love this movie so much.
Synopsis : Koizumi Risa has always been a tall girl. She is 170 cm tall, and has alredy been rejected by a guy she loved because she is taller than him. Otani Athushi is a bit short. He is 156 cm tall. And he is alredy been rejected by a girl whom he loved because he is shorter than her.
Now by accident and co-incidence, Koizumi Risa and Otani Atushi comes to be in same class while in high school, and they just hate each other and fight with each other all the time and call each other 'shorty' and 'bean stalk'. But apparently being in the same friends group they are forced to hang out together. Yet they fight. Even they their likes and dislikes are always the same. They order the same thing when they are at a restaurant, they like the same singer ect... Even though their friends think that they would make a good couple they fight with their friends saying they don't want a longer girlfriend and shorter boyfriend. But being the fan of a singer - Umiboz - makes Risa and Otani fast friend. And slowly Risa falls in love with Otani. Now what should she do, she is taller than him. Will he even accept her.
