Most people cry after the climax of this film. But to tell the truth, it left me with a smile on my lips. I realised the beauty of the feeling called 'love'. I realised, I didn't knew anything about love up until now.
This Nicolas Spark novel turned to a film (I'd say film is better than the book, I've read book too...and film captures the aura more effectively), is something I would say every couple should watch...coz it would tell you want love is.
As in this film's words... 'love is never angry, or jealous. Love forgives...Love is not gain, or loss...' Those were the sweetest description I have ever heard about that feeling.
Story Synopsis : Landon was just a spoilt brat. And Jamie Sullivan, the local church's priest's daughter had always been in his class since grade 1. And Landon and his friends had always liked to make fun of plain, unattractive, simple Jamie. They thought she was weird, not just because she is priest's daughter, but also because she was too good - she liked to read bible, she liked to help disabled children study on her weekends, and she would never behave impolitely with anybody.All these freaked out Landon.
Until he joins drama club and get cast against Jamie in a play. He gets to know her better. He even ask her to help him do his lines for the play. She says ok, but she has one condition... and that is never to fall in love with her.But he does... And when he does he can't reverse it, even when he finds that she is going to die.
