Well, can be said as another stereotypical Korean tragedy-romance movie. But it is sort of a worth to watch. There is a subtle beauty to this film... It talks about love and general good nature...
And it is also told in a good way with it's metaphors of the daisy flower and black tulips.
Story Synopsis : Park-yi a contract killer is in love with an artist Hye-young. He is her hidden lover. He can never tell her his love, co their worlds are so different. Hye-young's life is so simple and innocent and pure type. She makes her living by drawing portraits of people on the square. Park-yi had first seen Hye-young in a daisy flower field where she was making a painting of the Daisy flowers and had fallen down a bridge over a stream, and he had helped her then.
Park-yi starts to send Hye-young Daisy flowers every day 4.15 pm sharp, while staying hidden from her eyes...
And Park-yi has to kill a person when he gets black tulips...
Hye-young falls in love with the guy who is sending her the daisy flowers...But she don't know who he is...
Detective Jyong Woo is a young detective who is on trail of Park-yi. On his search of Park-yi he accidently meets Hye-young, and Hye-young mistakes him for the man who sends her daisy flowers...
A disturbing triangle between a criminal a detective officer and an innocent young lady develops...
