Passover and Japan / Somin-Shorai Shimenawa / Entrance culture
Saturday, April 23, 2016
Some wise Japanese know how to be during Pesach.
We don't eat cucumber or tomato which has seeds.
And we display red things or Shimenawa on a entrance door or walls faces northwest of house.
Orange means the Sun.
It absorbs bad evils well.
Shimenawa is not only for Japanese New Year.
People use it all year round especially in Mie prefecture.
Of course Japanese and Jewish people have common genes and culture.
Our ancestors were same and they came from the Mars.
