Unboxing [UK]: Love Live! School Idol Project - Season 2: Limited Edition (Blu-ray)

That's right, I actually bought the series again. Only this time it's the UK MVM release. I wanted to make use of their 20% off Blu-ray sale so I bought both seasons for a reasonable price. Here's the second season of the idol franchise.

Love Live! School Idol Project is one of Sunrise's biggest successes in recent anime years. The franchise exploded and tons of the idol group's music has topped the charts in Japan. The success of the franchise caught NIS America off guard and actually re-released the series with an English dub. I already own the NIS America Premium box set for Season 1 back in 2014, here's the unboxing post for that. Also just to note, if you want to see photos of the artbook, check the unboxings of the US set that I've done as they're literally the exact same contents.

This release from MVM Entertainment is based on the Madman Australian release while also based on the NIS America US release altogether. The contents are pretty simple; a DVD-sized set with a slipcover and different art inside plus the artbook from NIS America's release in paperback DVD-sized form. The audios are the original Japanese with English subtitles and the English dub. Like other MVM sets these discs are Region B only.
