The film is about five characters and their life in one crazy day.
The most exciting yet funny Korean movie I have ever watched. The film twist's the time line of the script to and fro and tells the story in the most bizzar and unusual way which makes it extra exciting, amusing and funny.
Truly commendable script.
Story Synopsis: Kim Yoo-suk's fiancé Hwang Na-ri is missing. She had asked him to buy a house for her, and when he did that, she simply disappeared one day, sending him a text that she would send someone to collect her luggage from his home.Yoo-suk's friend Detective Park Bonk-nam is searching for Na-ri ever since.
Then this crazy day starts.
Yoon-suk first gets in to an accident, which cost him money for nothing. Then he goes to bank to talk about the home loan, where he sits besides the traffic police Choi Ae-yone. Then the bank gets robbed, and the people at the bank are tied together. While in this state a woman accuse Yoo-suk to be molesting her, and when robbery is over takes him to police station.When he gets free from there, his friend informs him that he found Na-ri. Yoo-suk runs to restaurant without his wallet, and Bonk-nam disappears after ordering food. Yoon-suk meets Ae-yon, whose friend couldn't make it to the restaurant and her wallet been stolen. Both are left without money at the restaurant When they get out from their, they are splashed by vehicles by puddle water.When they walk to Yoo-suk's home, these two get friends and gets close emotionally. Then at Yoo-suk's home Na-ri turns up unexpectedly...Ae-yon leaves the hose, but Yoo-suk runs behind her and gives her his phone number.
Here, the film stops for a while. Now we are taken to the life of Park Bonk-nam... The time rewinds to that morning, and the unusual day continues... As Park Bonk-nam says he had found Na-ri long way back, and how she is not trying to con a man who is famous for being a Mafia king - Lee Byong che.After a lot of comical chaos there, we are taken to Na-ri's life, to the Lee Byong-che's life and then to Ae-yon's life ad so on.
Travelling to and fro in time and through the life of these five characters, the film tells a curiously interesting and immensely funny story that will remain in our mind for ever.
It is also cutely romantic to some extend.
In first half till Yoo-suk's story is playing, it just feels to be normal cute romantic comedy. So the only draw back is that you will have to wait for the excitement to come. But once the second half starts, you will forget to catch breath.
