Hello Stranger (Thai)

The most peculiar thing about this movie is that the names of the main characters are never told or mentioned in this whole film.In fact they don't even know each other's name through the whole movie. But that just makes it more interesting and cute.
A few people may not like the ending of the film (and it is not a sad ending, it's a happy one) coz they don't say the names of the characters even then. But I think most of us, if you have that sort of spirit, will think that suited the story well, and that was cute in it's own way.

But it's indeed a lovable film.A cute and playful love story, that contain friendship and love. Coz the main characters are more like friends than lovers. They just hang out and have total fun...

Story synopsis : The boy is going to Korea from Thailand as part of a conducted Tour. The girl is going to Korea from Thailand to attend the wedding of her chat friend, Min-ah. The girl has a weird boyfriend who is strict and who doesn't want her to go alone. She has to lie to him that she is going with a friend, when she is indeed going alone.

The boy had not actually planned to go to the tour, but after being drunk at a party he is left at the air port by his friends. So he end up going alone to the tour without any luggage, since his luggage was left at the party.

After one day in Korea, the boy end up eating dog meat out of mistake and miss his tour bus and all and end up in company of the girl. Her being Thai, and her knowing English well, and Korean a little, he asks her if he could tag along with her till the tour bus comes back after two days because he doesn't want to end up eating dog meat again. She agrees. They hang out and all...The boy makes fun of the girl's strict boyfriend, and she makes fun of him having no one at all when he tells her how he had a break up recently.
They girl and boy have a competition over food (the deal is the girl will drink one full bottle of alcohol if the boy eats a live octopus) , and then gets drunk. The next day the girl get a phone from her boyfriend. The boyfriend has figures out that the girl had gone alone. They fight and break up over phone. Then the girl is sad, and so just goes on and have fun with the guy.

They agrees not to tell each other's name, because they say if they know the names of each other, they will become friends, and will start to care for each other and can't fool around like they do.
The boy doesn't go with the tour bus after 2 days, he sticks with the girl, and they want to go to see snow. Along the way, they also attend he girl's net friend's wedding And The boy tells the girl how he is sad over the break up with his ex-girlfriend. The girl helps him through it all...

They had become really close friends when they have a moment of losing them self when they just end up kissing.
Things tend to get difficult from there...

The only down side of this movie, is some people will get disgusted by the way they have shown Korean food here in this movie. Actually, I think the Thai people just wanted to insult or make fun of Korean food a bit, by showing dog meat and eating live octopus tentacles(it looks like worms), or slimy octopus (Well, i have seen a lot of Korean films too, and I don't think Korean actually eat all those stuff on daily basis.)
You have to sit through the disgust of a few seconds to enjoy this movie. My sister actually stopped watching the film when the eating octopus scene came. Well, I'd just say her loss. Coz I really loved this film.It's really lovely to watch how the relationship of half love-half friendship and the string bond develops gradually between the two strangers. The relationship's gradual course of life is really cute and in a real and effective way...
