10 things I hope to accomplish before I turn 25

I have no idea where, nor do I have any people in mind I wish to travel out with. I just hope when the time comes, a group of us would spontaneously hop on the plane together and embark on an adventure I believe neither of us would ever forget. Being in a complete new environment with a group of people whom you loved dearly, looking for directions, trying out new hobbies and food, and discovering breath-taking sights together.
I have been in love with a particular band for 8 years (and counting). I've been following them all the way since 2005 and had many failed attempts at attending their concerts. This has always been my top wish and I do hope I will finally be able to fly over and watch their concert, fall in love with the live music, and to finally see them in person. Till then.
As one grows older, our metabolism rate decreases. We realise we gain a lot more weight even though the amount of food we take in remains constant. I do hope to finally have the habit of eating right and proper, especially kicking the habit of skipping meals.
They say it's difficult to learn a new language after your window of opportunity has closed. But, it's always never too late. Sure, it may take a lot more effort to learn a new language, but the benefits of it definitely outweighs the effort spent. For me, I really do hope I become proficient in the Japanese language because it's a language I enjoy learning.
You're only young once. There are so many things in the world you can't do as you get older because your bones get stiffer, your body becomes more fragile, and you eventually can't find the time to do them. There are so many things I've given up on because I wanted to try something else and to gain more experiences. However, it's sad when the things I gave up on were the things that kept me going and the things that I adored.
There are so many places I wish to explore but the place where I loved the most would be Japan. I would really wish to be able to fly over to Japan and immerse myself in the country rich in culture. Try out their unique food, visit a temple or shrine, and simply walk along the streets, meeting new people.
8. Learn how to wrap a rice dumpling
I strongly believe that we should always keep our traditions and customs that we seemed to be gradually losing. There are so many traditions we Chinese hold but how many young Chinese out there actually do know of these customs? I hope to start small though by first learning the skills of making delicious rice dumplings from my grandmother.
9. Get a job which I enjoy
What's better than being paid to do something that you enjoy doing? I can't think of any.
10. Fall in love with my prince charming
We all love happy endings but they are so hard to achieve in real life. We don't just get married and live happily ever after for the rest of our lives. I really do hope I will be able to find my prince charming before I turn 25 so I can spend more years with him.
