Naorai ceremony after Shinto rituals / Food and Human / Local foods give you power

Naorai is an eating ceremony for local people after Shinto ritual.
Some Japanese people think it is a just party to celebrate successful completion of Shinto ritual,
but it is important closing ceremony in Shinto.

All foods are created by mother earth, soil and the Sun.
We dedicate some local foods in Shinto shrine because we want to express gratitude.
After the dedication,we eat the local foods.
This is the Naorai.

Niiname-sai is the biggest and most important Shinto event of Thanksgiving in Japan.(Once a year in autumn)
But Japanese people always dedicate foods besides Niiname-sai.

These short movies are Naorai.
Each movie is different area but Naorai is almost same style.

These days, some people also eat commercial foods in Naorai.
Beer,snacks,delivered foods and so on.
But originally,we have to eat foods that were dedicated at shrine beforehand.
Local vegetables and foods are very important.
Sake rice wine,Mochi rice cake and local dishes that are cooked with dedicated foods...and so on.
Sake and Mochi are important than other foods.
Because Japanese rice is condensed essence of the Sun's energy.

Why should we est shrine-dedicated foods?
The reason is simple.
Dedicated foods get Nature gods atmosphere again.
If we eat it,we can get closer to nature gods.
God and human become one(Again)
(Human is already part of God but human always forget about it)
(Shinjin-Gouitsu = "God and human become one" in Japanese language)
Naorai party integrate our body and Nature.
Nature = God itself

We apt to forget about what human is.
Human is nature too.
Our body is made from nature, foods and ancestors.
We can remember the meaning more frequently by Naorai.
Your country's nature is created by Earth and Sun.
Your countless ancestors bodies were also created by nature and foods.
You are created by ancestors.
This concept is important.
